Thousands of people helped to make the Rouge Park a reality by attending Municipal Council meetings by the hundreds and by contacting their elected officials by the thousands. A smaller group of people dedicated their hearts and souls and countless volunteer hours in the ongoing effort to "Save the Rouge". All of these people are really "Friends of the Rouge". A few of them are highlighted below and many more are highlighted in the associated photo gallery.
